Join us for a festival highlight and get some great book recommendations from insatiable readers: Elaine Coghill, Stephen Doyle, Geraldine Duignan, Luke Henderson, Benny Daly, Vanessa Job and more. Avid and reluctant readers alike will enjoy this celebration of the joy of reading.
From 12.30pm, lunch will be provided by Ethna Reynolds, an award-winning chef and owner of Nook Café, Collooney & My Lovely Lunchbox- healthy, convenient and nutritionally balanced lunchboxes. Ethna opened Nook Café recently to a great response. The cafe offers new age Irish cuisine, using Irish and local ingredients, with most of the produce coming from Collooney and the surrounding area. The menus change every month to offer the best of in-season produce to the customer, ensuring something new and exciting on the menu as well as a few staple favourites. Known as 'The Burlesque Chef’ due to her blog, TV appearances and love of all things vintage, Ethna has won numerous awards in local and national competitions such as CATEX, and has worked in kitchens in both New Zealand and Australia.
