Nightshift: Making Waves

Making Waves started out as an annual DJ Party on International Women's Day and has morphed into a collective of woman and underrepresented DJs and selectors in Sligo since 2023. Founded by Edel Doherty, of Spilt Milk Festival Sligo and Vera Schliebitz co-founder of Fulacht Fiadh Cafe, Manorhamilton, the collective found support with many peers and organisers who also help foster a wider music and DJ scene within Sligo.

Nightshift, a monthly Sunday night series. Experience an eclectic mix of house, techno, and dub in the new Hawk’s Well Studio, featuring some of the best local DJs with immersive live visuals.
