We are committed to becoming an accessible venue and are working to make our venue accessible and welcoming to all.
Please tell us when booking if you have any special requirements and we will do our very best to facilitate you.
Wheelchairs
Hawk's Well Theatre has a maximum of two spaces for wheelchairs in the auditorium. Please advise box office when booking to enable us to allocate a seat accordingly. We have unisex accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor beside the entrance to the auditorium.
Parking for people with disabilities is located at the side of the building on The Lungy and wheelchair access to the theatre (including the bar and box office) is available from here.
Concession & Carer Tickets
Hawk’s Well Theatre recognises and acknowledges people's differences and supports the individual needs of all patrons/customers. Where applicable we offer concession prices to senior citizens, children, students and people with disabilities. Carer tickets may also be available on certain performances to aid a customer with a disability who would be unable to visit the theatre without the support of another person. Hearing Loop
We have an Induction Loop system in place in the auditorium for the use of our hard-of-hearing or deaf audience members. Please note when booking seats, that rows A,B,C seats 1-10 are not optimal for using the loop due to electrical interference.
Visually Impaired
Guide dogs are welcome - please let us know at time of booking so we can allocate an appropriate seat.
Visitors with A.S.D.
Visual guides are used to help enable individuals with autism understand the social situations expected when attending an event at the Hawk's Well. The visual guide provides the individual with a short description about what to expect and why.

Chill-out Room
A chill-out room is available on selected performances at the theatre. This is an area for those who wish to avail of a quiet space to relax before or during the performance. You can find out which shows have a chill-out room available, by looking for the symbol on the theatre’s website and in our brochure.
Ear Defenders
There are ear defenders available from our box office, subject to availability. These are for audience members who may find the sound too loud or overwhelming.
