Engagement
The arts are for connection, not just entertainment. Through community programmes, social groups, outreach and accessible events, we make sure that everyone in our region — regardless of age, background, ability or income — can share in the life of the theatre. This is the work that reaches people who might otherwise feel the arts aren’t “for them”: older people facing isolation, people with additional needs, families for whom a ticket is a luxury. Your support keeps our doors genuinely open to all.

Nurturing the next generation
Creativity is a skill, a confidence and a joy that begins young. We run camps, workshops, classes and structured learning pathways in drama, dance, voice and music — from a child’s first stage experience to serious training and audition preparation.
We also bring the arts directly into schools through our Theatre in Education work. Every gift here plants something: a child who finds their voice, a young person who discovers a future they hadn’t imagined.

The Impact Fund
We’re transforming Hawk’s Well — renovating our building, expanding our spaces, and securing the future of both our venues. This is the most ambitious chapter in our history, and we’re inviting you to help write it.
What we’ve already achieved together: thanks to our supporters, we’ve [acquired and reopened the Art Deco / added our Temple Street studios / kept ticket prices accessible through rising costs]. The Impact Fund is the next step — and it’s the biggest yet.

Make your mark at Hawk’s Well by naming a seat in the theatre or at the Art Deco in Ballymote. From €500, you can dedicate a seat to yourself, a loved one or someone special, with your dedication engraved on a plaque for 10 years. Your gift also helps support the future of our buildings and the work that happens within them.
