These Foolish Things 

These Foolish Things are a Sligo based Jazz trio with a twist. Larry Gallagher from New York, guitar and vocals, Siobhan O'Farrell lead vocal, a blow in 25yrs ago, from London via Dublin and one of Sligo's finest sons, Conor Bastible on piano.

They love the American Songbook of jazz standards but like to play them with their own spice thrown in. While you will hear modern classics from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Paul McCartney, Tom Waites, Paul Simon, Bill Withers, the songs are definitely their own new versions of the favourites you may know.

Larry is also a songwriter and sings a few of his own quirky compositions. Along with some banter, chats and stories, they offer an interesting, unique, eclectic event quite unlike anything in Sligo. They perform regularly at Lillie's Cocktail Bar and have gained a loyal following over the last few years.
