“I am thrilled and honoured to be appointed Artist in Residence with the Hawk’s Well Theatre for 2025. I’m so grateful for this incredible opportunity to collaborate with the amazing team at the theatre and work with many inspiring Sligonians. This residency will allow me to further develop my playwriting and performance work, including the creation of a new play. The Hawk’s Well Theatre holds a special place in my heart, having premiered my one-woman show GomBean. I look forward to a year of creativity, connection, and community in the vibrant cultural hub that is Sligo.” Niamh McGrath, Hawk’s Well Theatre Artist in Residence.
