Project Lighthouse: Call for Quotations

The Hawk’s Well Theatre, in partnership with Millennium Forum Productions and the John and Pat Hume Foundation, is delighted to announce an open Call for Quotations for several key roles to support this landmark initiative.

Deadline for Submissions: Friday, April 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Project Lighthouse is a cross-border peacebuilding arts initiative bringing together 30 Cultural Champions aged 18–25 from Sligo and Derry/Londonderry to explore what peace means for a generation born after the Good Friday Agreement. Through creative exchanges, workshops, and performance development, participants collaborate with professional artists to develop a shared artistic response that explores identity, difference, and the future of peace on the island.

A project supported by PEACEPLUS; a programme managed by the Special EU programme Body (SEUPB) and supported by Sligo County Council.

Available Opportunities

PR Manager
Working alongside the project producer and artistic team, the PR Manager will lead the communication and media strategy for Project Lighthouse.
The goal of this role is to build national and local visibility for the project, ensuring that the journey of our participants (30 Cultural Champions) is shared widely and with professional sensitivity. The PR Manager will be responsible for creating public awareness and engagement as the group works towards a final global broadcast.
The primary objective is to support the project’s goal of maximising audience reach by the end of September 2026. This will be achieved through a strategic mix of traditional media, social media storytelling, and coordinated promotion in partnership with the project’s digital distribution team.

Well-Being & Performance Coach

Working alongside the two lead artists and the project producer, the Performance and Wellbeing Coach will support the creative team and participants throughout the Project Lighthouse journey.
The coach will contribute to creating a safe, supportive and resilient environment for the young participants (Cultural Champions) and will support performance development as the group works towards the final public showcase.
The role will involve early engagement with the artistic team from April 2026, followed by focused involvement during key participant exchanges and the final performance period.

Live Stream Director & Technical Team

Project Lighthouse will culminate in a major public performance that will be broadcast globally. We are seeking a professional broadcast team to manage the multi-camera live stream of the showcases in both Sligo and Derry.
The goal is to ensure a high-quality cinematic experience that captures the energy of the "Cultural Champions" while maximising audience reach. You will play a vital role in making the performance accessible to international audiences, school groups, and community partners, ensuring the project’s impact is felt as widely as possible.

Digital Distribution Expert

Working alongside the Producer and the Live Stream team, the Digital Distribution Expert will manage the strategic delivery and reach of the project’s digital content.
This role is critical to maximising audience reach. The Expert will ensure that the final broadcast and the Digital Educational Packs (created in collaboration with the artistic team and Producer) are successfully distributed to schools, youth groups, and global audiences. Additionally, this role will support the content planning schedule to ensure a consistent and effective digital rollout.

Composer

Working alongside the two lead artists and the project producer, the Composer will create the sonic identity for Project Lighthouse. The role involves composing an original score for the public presentation performance and creating audio assets for the documentary film and digital educational packs.
The Composer will collaborate with the artistic team to reflect the themes of the Good Friday Agreement and the personal journeys of the 30 Cultural Champions.
