Cushy is no stranger to rubbing shoulders with the hierarchy of folk music on the biggest city stages to the cosy backroom bars of Irelands rural pubs. Something for everyone in the audience is the motto.

Shane McGowan is one of the best folk guitarists on the traditional music scene today and has toured with the likes of Lunasa, Zakir Hussain and Dolores Keane over the years. He has been described as the ‘perfect guitar player’ with immense ability to produce the ideal backdrop to any given melody.
