The Change Your Mind Festival returns to the Hawk’s Well Theatre on Saturday 5 October for a full day of inspiring talks, wellbeing sessions, and activities for all ages. This free mental health and wellbeing event is open to everyone and offers a space to learn, connect, and recharge.
This year’s programme features a powerful lineup of speakers, including Dr. Harry Barry, GP and best-selling author, whose talk on Anxiety, Depression & Emotional Resilience will offer practical tools grounded in neuroscience and CBT. Shane Casey, known for his role as Billy Murphy in The Young Offenders, shares his personal journey in a talk filled with honesty, humour, and heart on Resilience, Communication & Self-Worth. Also taking the stage is Daniella Moyles – psychotherapist, writer, mum, and founder of @the.stll – who brings a unique perspective on mental health, self-care, and growth.
The event also includes a panel featuring three Clinical Directors from HSE Mental Health Services, along with contributions from the President of the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland and the College’s Director of Communications & Public Education.
Alongside the talks, the Wellness Room will host a variety of fitness and wellness sessions throughout the day, and the foyer will be alive with engaging activities for children.
Free entry. All welcome.
