Tam Tully fights tragedy and treachery to save her Ulster distillery from ruin by crafting the Holy Grail of whiskey, that perfect single malt.

‘Hypnotic enough to stop time itself’ - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ EdFringeReview

Following standing ovations in Dublin, London, Edinburgh and a sold out run at The Lyric Theatre, Belfast, award-winning actor-writer Joyce Greenaway is delighted to bring her ‘blistering’ Edinburgh Fringe solo show to Hawk's Well Theatre, for one night only! You might even get a wee dram to boot…

Laced with dry wit, casked in raw emotion, this is a story you won’t forget!

Joyce has worked at The Royal Court and major regional theatres with debbie tucker green (truth and reconciliation), and with Sandi Toksvig (QI), Georgia Pritchett (Succession) and Alice Birch (Normal People) and was recently chosen to represent NI theatre by Arts Council NI and NI Executive Office, Brussels, at Bozar, Brussels. Gamers might recognise hers as the only NI operative voice, Abrasive Genius, in Ubisoft’s WATCH DOGS: LEGION!

was recently placed in the top 10% of the BBC Writersroom Open Call.

Audience comments:

It’s only day one of my time at Fringe Festival but I think I’ve already had my most memorable experience…

Just watched Whiskey Wars this afternoon and was in floods of tears pretty much the whole way through, it was amazing and I didn’t know I could be so drawn into a character so quickly, Tam felt so real!

Oh my goodness, I am left in awe after seeing Joyce perform… So beautifully human in so many aspects.

Outrageously talented… a one woman show like no other… we were FLOORED!

I’d highly recommend for a gritty storytelling of family business, religion, whiskey, treachery and a twist of covid. Next ‘Happy Valley’?

Hypnotic, powerful, beautifully written… Go and inhale
