What if there was a whole neighbourhood hidden right here in Ballymote?
A secret little place where vampires, witches, ghosts and other wonderfully strange creatures could live together, away from the ordinary world.
Welcome to Trick or Treat Street.
Created by the brilliantly peculiar Professor Pumpkin, Trick or Treat Street is a colourful, chaotic neighbourhood where monsters don't hide under beds or lurk in dark forests. They live together, make friends, get into mischief and celebrate Halloween all year round.
Professor Pumpkin built the neighbourhood because she believed every monster deserved somewhere to call home. And now, for one very special Halloween, she's decided to open its doors.
But there's a problem.
The monsters have never had any visitors before… and they have absolutely no idea how to prepare for them!
This Halloween, families are invited behind the screen at The Art Deco in Ballymote to step into the strange and wonderful world of Trick or Treat Street. You'll meet Professor Pumpkin and her loyal assistant Popcorn Boy, along with the rest of the neighbourhood's wonderfully weird residents: Scaredy the Ghost, Clumsy Mummy, the Hangry Witch and Vampluencer.
Before the film begins, families will become part of the story in a special live theatrical adventure. Help Professor Pumpkin and Popcorn Boy get Trick or Treat Street ready for its first ever visitors, while taking part in games, challenges, comedy, audience participation, surprises and plenty of Halloween mischief.
And there's a reason we're opening the doors.
We know that, for many local families, there aren't many places to go trick-or-treating on Halloween. So rather than waiting for the monsters to come knocking, we decided to build somewhere for them to go.
Trick or Treat Street is our way of creating a fun and memorable Halloween experience right here in Ballymote. Giving children a place to dress up, explore, play, trick-or-treat and celebrate Halloween together.
Spooky without being scary. Silly without being too childish. And full of enough Halloween magic for kids and grown-ups alike.
So grab your costume, bring your best Halloween spirit and step through the doors.
