A fantastic night of traditional Irish music with a double bill of trios. Don’t miss a rare opportunity to hear a trio of guitar legends featuring Seamie O’Dowd, Patrick Doocey and Shane McGowan. Also featuring are the renowned traditional singer and flute player, Nuala Kennedy who is joined by Clare fiddle maestro Tara Breen and Dublin guitarist of note, Tony Byrne.

Patrick Doocey, Shane Mc Gowan and Seamie O’Dowd are all individually respected guitarists and sought after accompanists in the field of traditional Irish music.

Patrick Doocey
is an All-Ireland winning multi-instrumentalist, His musical journey so far has seen him tour worldwide performing with artists such as Sharon Shannon, Liz Carroll, Lunasa, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Teada, Buille, Cathal Hayden, Mairtin O’Connor, Karan Casey, and Sean Keane.

Shane Mc Gowan
has performed with many top musicians including Matt Molloy, John Carty, Dave Munnelly, Mairtin O’Connor, Cathal Hayden and Lúnasa. His natural ability to weave between traditional and contemporary styles has resulted in him performing on many occasions over a few years in a much enjoyed guitar duo with Seamie O’Dowd.

Seamie O’Dowd has built a solid reputation as a guitarist and is a respected multi –instrumentalist and singer. He was nominated in the Best Folk and Traditional Musician category of the inaugural Radio One Folk Awards back in 2018. Seamie has also toured worldwide with and recorded with a variety of well- known and respected musicians including Christy Moore, Mairtin O’Connor, Cathal Hayden, Martin Hayes, Dervish, Tommy Emmanuel, Liam O’Flynn, The Chieftains and Mary Mac Partlan .
