This Sligo Live Double Bill combines two unmissable contrasting ensembles playing cutting-edge Irish traditional and folk music. Best Emerging Artists winners at the 2024 RTÉ Folk Awards, Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta are a brother and sister from An Áird Mhóir in the Connemara Gaeltacht who perhaps more than anybody else in their generation have given traditional singing a contemporary edge while respecting the integrity of the genre. Their exquisite sibling harmonies transcend both traditional and modern songs.

Dylan Carlos, Dave Sheridan and John McCartin are one of the premier examples of quintessential North Connacht fiddle/flute/guitar combinations this region is so noted for and surprisingly none of them come from Sligo.
