New Road Marks 10th Anniversary of Stone Walls & Street Lights

The acclaimed four-piece New Road is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut collaborative album, Stone Walls & Street Lights. Released in 2016, the record stands as a definitive fusion of deep-rooted Irish traditional music and American Appalachian influences, brought together by a lineup of the genre’s most respected virtuosos.

The group features Leonard Barry on uilleann pipes and whistles, Rick Epping on harmonica, concertina, and vocals, Andy Morrow on fiddle, and Seamie O’Dowd on guitar, mandolin, and vocals. This collaboration grew from the creative momentum of Barry’s earlier solo work, evolving into a distinct group sound that The Irish Times described as a "glorious, unfettered soundscape."
