With a sound that fuses vibes from The Waterboys, Dolly Parton, and Simon Garfunkel, Heron Red is a dynamic folk duo with a full-band sound. The band blends traditional Irish music with Americana, country, and Traditional folk. Comprised of songwriters Molly Buchan and Callum Wall, the duo crafts music that ranges from stripped-back storytelling, echoing the poetic depth of Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, to the soaring, full-bodied energy of The Waterboys and Planxty.

The band has played renowned venues and festivals across Ireland and the UK, from the intimate charm of De Barra’s in Clonakilty, the high ceilings of Cork City Hall, the beautiful Hawk's Well Theatre in Sligo, Victoriouse festival in Portsmouth, All Together Now in Waterford, and the legendary Whelan’s in Dublin.
