Safe & Sound Summer Sessions: Cathy Jordan
Enjoy live music again at our Safe & Sound Summer Sessions in the foyer. Tickets must be pre-booked online in advance and are available from 10th August at 10am.
Recognised as one of the finest traditional singers in Ireland today, Cathy Jordan has been the front woman and bodhran player with Sligo-based traditional group Dervish. Dervish were honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at last year’s BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2019 for their incredible contribution to folk music over the last 30 years.
Cathy delivered an online song a day for 60 days of the lockdown for the Hawk’s Well and Roscommon Arts Centre. These daily live singalong sessions were an incredible success, and we received overwhelming feedback from people who tuned in from all over the world.
Please note: People will be allocated socially distant seats on arrival. When booking multiple tickets you will be seated together. In line with Government recommendations, seating capacity is limited and tickets must be pre-booked online in advance. New safety measures have also been introduced around visiting the venue which you will be notified of in advance by email.
