‘That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being that ever was…..’
From The Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan
There we are. A dot, suspended in the universe. Everything that ever was or is, all on one blue dot.
Welcome to the wordless world of DOTS, where we explore who we are and how we depend on each other. A playful journey to find our place in this world.
DOTS is a bold and joyful visual theatre experience, with delightful interactive elements for young audiences. Created by Paul Curley (Polar Bear & Penguin, Grey Matter, BAKE! & The Dig) with illustrator Philip Kennedy, designers Sarah Jane Shiels and Ger Clancy and award winning director Ian Cameron (White).
DOTS was created in 2025 with the support of The Arts Council of Ireland | An Chomhairle Ealaíon and in partnership with Draíocht and Riverbank Arts Centre. The 2027 tour is funding by The Arts Council of Ireland | An Chomhairle Ealaíon Touring Award.
