Are you a Middle-aged Adventurer with a Passion for the Creative Arts?
The overall aim of this workshop series is to promote a creative engagement with the possibility of new beginnings and to open up a path through participants accumulated experience, knowledge, habit and inertia to new approaches to beginning and being in the moment.
Our exploration will be grounded in philosophical thinking, mainly from the western tradition and creative writing, in particular Irish fiction and memoir which documents and captures the Irish experience of socio-cultural identity construction. While the sessions will use these as discussion reference points, the course will seek to engage widely with many different and diverse cultural reference points, provided by the facilitator and the group.
All welcome.
