Trad@Lunch: Junior Davey with Gráinne Horan and Joanna Sweeney

Coming from Gurteen Co. Sligo, Junior Davey is a 5 times All Ireland Bódhran Champion and Bones World Champion. He has performed with many of Ireland’s finest musicians. He is joined by some special guests for this performance.

Gráinne Horan is a fiddle player who comes from a family steeped in music. She comes from Killavil, an area synonymous with Sligo music and her father was the well-known musician, Peter Horan.

Joanna Sweeney is an Irish traditional musician & hails from Riverstown Co. Sligo. She has been playing music since the age of 6. Predominate instruments are whistle, bodhrán, fiddle & voice. She has completed a Masters in Irish Traditional Music performance at the Irish World Academy, University of Limerick.
