New Season Shows with more to come!

We are delighted to announce a number of new events taking place in the auditorium throughout the Autumn months while adhering to strict social distancing guidelines. These events can all be booked via the website on www.hawkswell.com or through the box office which reopens on Thursday 17 September , Wed – Fri (10am to 2pm.)

Theatre lovers will be delighted to see plays back on stage with a great selection to choose from including According to Sydney (starring Rose Henderson from Fair City), Appropriate (written and performed by Sarah Jane Scott), The Man in the Woman’s Shoes and I Hear You and Rejoice (both written and performed by Sligo’s Mikel Murfi) and the popular tale of Tom Crean: Antartic Explorer performed by Aidan Dooley.

There are a number of 6 week evening courses starting up at the theatre with Acting for Adults with Isabel Claffey and Bodhrán for Adults with John Joe Kelly starting on Monday 21 September while More on Writing with Brian Leyden starts on Tues 22 September. More evening courses will be announced soon.

This year the 25th Sligo Festival of Baroque Music takes places at the Hawk’s Well with four performances taking place over Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of September.

An online show for children from Cahoots called The University of Wonder and Imagination will be streamed online with a variety of performances taking place on Wednesday 28th of October. This fun, interactive experience takes place live in your own home or classroom and is suitable for all the family to enjoy via the magic of digital technology.
