Hawk’s Well Theatre is delighted to announce a new scholarship for the 59th Yeats International Summer School. In keeping with the ethos of arts for all, everybody is welcome to apply for Hawk’s Well Theatre Sligo scholarship. There is no age limit or academic requirement.The award will enable the successful recipient to attend 12 wonderful lecturers and cultural events. The Hawk’s Well Theatre are delighted to announce that they have been successful in securing €78,278 in funding from LEADER to put towards further renovations at the theatre. This accounts for 75% of the total amount required (€103,471.44) to renovate the backstage area of the theatre. read more

Our exciting new drama programme for adults, ‘Sligo Acts’ culminated in a hugely entertaining drama performance, ‘Sligo Acts: Husbands and Wives’ on Sunday 11th of March. The Sligo Acts programme was inspired by the great success of the Sligo Sings programme at the theatre and the positive feedback from the ongoing Acting for Adults courses which have been running at the theatre over the last three years. read more
