What do you get when three of the leading performers in Irish music get together in Sligo for a night? Mary Bergin is acknowledged as one of Ireland’s finest ever tin whistle players, a founder of the popular female group Dordan she has toured worldwide and her album “Feadog Stain” is a timeless classic. Born in Kent, Tim Edey was awarded BBC Radio 2's Best Musician of 2012. Tim is both a successful solo and session artist. His recent album “Sailing over the 7th string” was produced by none other than Robin Wynn Evans, producer of The Manic Street Preachers. Tim’s CV is like a who’s who of Irish music, having worked with Christy Moore, The Chieftains, Mary Black, Altan, Begley and Cooney and Sharon Shannon to name a few. Kevin Conneff, often said to have helped popularize the rise of the bodhran worldwide from his thirty-seven years as a member of the legendary Chieftains. Kevin also has a beautiful singing voice and the list of people he has both played and sang with is endless.
