Kyle Riley: Little Folk On Tour
Little Folk on Tour is a fun-filled exploration of music and movement perfectly suited for your energetic under 6’s. Join Kyle Riley as he leads children and their adults through a variety of music that gets you singing, jumping and shaking. Make big sounds with percussive instruments, sway with a colourful scarf and float with the bubbles in this hugely engaging musical session.
Kyle began his career some twenty years ago performing in Baltimore, Maryland, Washington DC and New York. He has toured the UK with The Buddy Holly Story and performed in regional theatres in England. His first public performance in Ireland was at The Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo in Yeats’ Purgatory with Sam McCready. He’d the pleasure of touring Ireland with the Lyric Theatre, Belfast and An Grianán Theatre’s co-production of Brial Friel’s The Home Place. Most recently he created his own interpretations of the songs of Percy French for Two-For-One Productions ‘Percy French- Melodies of Unforgotten Years. In 2016, he was honoured to take part in the 1916 Commemoration in Dublin singing in St. Stephen’s Green and providing a song writing workshop for children. He received a commendation as part of St. Fiach’s National School’s contribution to the All Island Song Competition- Song for ’16. He’s been known to make appearances at The CO Club in Oldcastle, Co. Meath performing a variety of original music and unique interpretation. Kyle has performed at Sunrise Children’s Festival, Le Cheile Arts Festival and Electric Picnic 2017.
