The Hawk’s Well Theatre is situated on Temple Street, just outside Sligo town and right beside the Cathedral.There is limited street parking outside the theatre. Patrons can park in the Cathedral car-park. There is a €3 charge when leaving this car-park.
Directions
The theatre is located beside the Tourist Office on Temple Street, near the Cathedral and the centre of town.
On foot, from O'Connell Street in the centre of town walk to the top (away from the post office) and turn right on to John Street. Turn second left and walk to the top of Charles Street and continue straight up The Lungy. Turn right on to Temple Street and the theatre is on the right.
By car approaching from south Sligo or Dublin, turn right at the first set of traffic lights on the inner relief road (N4) on to Upper John Street, and follow the one-way system on to Temple Street. The theatre is on the left after the cathedral.
Approaching from north Sligo, turn left at the last set of traffic lights on the inner relief road (when the cathedral tower looks close on your left, and before the road rises up a long hill leading away from town), on to Upper John Street, as above.
