Gorgeous Kids Shows at the Hawk’s Well
24 June, 2016

There are some lovely shows for children taking place at the Hawk’s Well over the next few weeks.

The Cairde Kids One World Disco with DJ Will Softly takes place at the Hawk’s Well on Saturday 9th of July at 3pm. This is a Cairde Festival favourite as children shake, move, wiggle and bounce to the sounds of One World DJ Will Softly. Will has inspired kids all over Ireland to shake their thang at festivals including Electric Picnic, Body & Soul & many more. Tickets €4 per child and adults are free.

There’s a lovely show for little ones on Sunday 10th of July. Codladh Sámh, produced by the Hawk’s Well is a truly unforgettable traditional music experience for babies which celebrates forgotten lullabies of yesteryear. Musicians and singers Collette Sheerin, Lucie Crichlow and Luke Mercer delight and enchant tiny audiences with a selection of favourite traditional lullabies. As babies relax…angelic voices, music and gently moving projections will captivate them and bring parents and carers on a trip down memory lane through gentle songs of slumber. A soothing and delightful experience for parents to share with their babies. Performances at 11am & 1pm for 3-12 month olds and performances at 12 and 2pm for 1-2 year olds.

Another gorgeous concert for babies has been commissioned to coincide with Sligo Jazz Project. Boogie Woogie Babies on Saturday 23rd of July features local musicians Kieran Quinn and Gerry Grennan who will delight and enchant babies, parents and grandparents alike. This is part of the Hawk’s Well’s Concerts for Babies series, where babies and their loves ones can experience beautiful music together, performed by outstanding musicians in a safe, secure and child friendly environment. A performance for 0-9 months olds takes place at 11am and a performance for 9-18 months takes place at 1pm. Tickets are €10 and €5 for a second adult. Babies go free.
Limited capacity for these events so early booking is advised. To book call the Hawk’s Well Theatre on 071 916 1518 or visit www.hawkswell.com.
