Become a Friend
Play a part in helping the Hawk's Well develop its exciting programme, widen access to the arts and encourage community participation. Donations from Friends have helped the theatre to:
- bring quality drama, dance and opera to Sligo
- enable the Hawk's Well's first children's drama summer school and choral academy
- host popular community events such as Feis Shligigh and Feis Ceoil
- continue its partnership with the Yeats Society to host the prestigious annual Yeats International Summer School.
Friends receive a range of benefits including priority booking for the sell-out Christmas pantomime (four tickets per Friend maximum), specially-discounted tickets to performances, invitations to shows and special events and discounts at our partner businesses in Sligo:
- 10% discount on all purchases at Liber Bookshop, O'Connell Street, Sligo
- 10% off meals at the Silver Apple French-style bistro, Lord Edward Street, Sligo, Wed - Sun before 7pm (excluding early bird menu) for card-holder plus one guest.
- 10% off the Table d’Hote menu in the Glasshouse Hotel between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
The annual cost for individuals is €50 for a single membership and €90 for a joint membership (two people living at the same address).
Become a Business Friend
Businesses that pay a minimum of €250 a year receive all the benefits of a Joint Friends membership and will have their names displayed on the Hawk's Well's website.
