The Architecture and Playability of Theatre
Mikel Murfi will lead a workshop for professional actors to explore the core ideas in the theatre practice of Jacques Lecoq as well as the practice Mikel is currently evolving himself. An ideal opportunity to have your creative mind challenged and reinvigorated as Mikel brings the disciplineof architecture to the work of the body in order to give the actor a more complete compendium of physical expression. Please note that this course is for actors currently working professionally.

This weekend is being produced by Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo. Meals are being provided by the award-winning Lyons Café and will be served at the theatre at the following times:
Friday 29 September, 1.30pm: light lunch
Friday 29 September, from 6pm: dinner followed by a comedy performance at the theatre by David O’Doherty.
Saturday 30 September, 1pm: a hearty lunch will be served
Sunday 1 October, light snacks will be available throughout the morning.
