Star of the Sea
In 1847 the famine-ship Star of the Sea sets sail for New York. Among the passengers are those with secrets to hide - a silent maidservant, a ruined landlord, an infamous murderer... Based on the best-selling novel by Joseph O'Connor, Moonfish Theatre's bi-lingual production conjures the worlds of the characters on little more than a bare stage through movement, song and imagery.

Richly detailed, wonderfully theatrical and deeply evocative, “Star of the Sea” is a truly impressive and ambitious production that's almost poetic in its breadth and beauty. The Examiner
